One of the goals of the Foundation is to foster the study of Honduras’ rich biodiversity with the intent of publishing quality natural history guides. For numerous reasons, so few books have come out of Honduras and it is our hope that we can change this trend. Robert has written and published two voluminous books on the country’s bird life and is no stranger to the entire process of self-publishing. By building a natural history museum at Emerald Valley it will provide the means to maintain a butterfly collection that will serve as the basis for a future field guide.
