Butterfly Workshop-Lake Yojoa

On the 19th and 20th of October 2019 the Pro Nature Honduras Foundation (Pro-HN) and the Foto Club Honduran joined forces to offer an initial workshop on butterfly identification and photography at Lake Yojoa.

The first part of the workshop took place at the Hotel and Restaurant La Naturaleza where 25 participants arrived. Robert Gallardo gave a presentation on the different families of butterflies that exist in Honduras and afterwards Bobby Handal and Juan R. Collart gave technical talks on photography.

The following day some of the participants arrived at the Bio Parque Paradise property in Los Naranjos to practice photographing butterflies. This site harbors a great diversity of butterflies and they were able to find and photograph many species.
