Pro Nature Honduras (Pro-HN) is an organization whose main objective is to promote, strengthen and foster actions that helps to transmit sound environmental protection and conservation messages. It aims to provide curricula for nature guides, interpretation workshops and environmental education programs in order to achieve its goals and objectives.
Pro-HN aspires to promote a range of activities that will foster the economic development and growth of Honduras, as well as neighboring countries, with programs such as the formation of skilled, bilingual Naturalist Guides. These types of skill sets serve as an added value to the country’s tourism industry.
Pro-HN ten founding members come from many walks of life and have a passion for biodiversity, sustainable development and environmental education. They are dedicated professionals who offer their knowledge, skills and experience in order to benefit the country, its people and the environment.
